Who we are
Upadrishta Enterprises (OPC) Private Limited, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, trading as AV Pro Sound, Agro and IT, is the data fiduciary for personal information collected through upadrishta.com.

What we collect and why
We ask for little, and we use what you give us for the purpose you gave it — arranging a demo, answering an enquiry, or sending news you opted into. We also collect limited usage data through analytics so we can see how the site is used. We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not buy lists of contacts.

How we use it
We use personal information only for the purposes above, to run and protect the site, to understand how it is used, and to meet legal duties. We may contact you about a booking by phone, email or WhatsApp using the details you gave us.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Where your information is stored
Bookings are stored in a database we operate through Neon. Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend. The website is hosted by our hosting provider. Analytics are collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, which are operated by Google. These companies process data on our instructions or as described in their own terms.
Some of their servers may be outside India. We keep access inside Upadrishta limited to people who need it to handle your request. If we message you on WhatsApp about a booking, that message is delivered through WhatsApp’s own service.

How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for up to 24 months so we can service what we have installed and answer questions later. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are removed within 12 months. Analytics data is kept for as long as Google Analytics retains it under our property settings — typically up to 14 months.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner. We may still keep what the law requires — for example tax or accounting records — or what we need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Marketing
We may contact you about your booking or enquiry without a separate opt-in. We will only send you news or offers if you have asked for them. Every such message will carry a way to stop. Replying “stop” or writing to us is enough. Withdrawing consent does not affect messages we still need to send about a booking you already made.

Google Analytics and Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4. Google may collect your IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, events on those pages, and approximate location. Google processes that data on servers that may be outside India, under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.
We use this to understand traffic and improve the site. We do not use Google Analytics to show you ads, and we do not sell the reports. We do not control Google’s systems; blocking cookies or using a browser add-on that opts out of Google Analytics will limit what we can measure, and some site features may not work if you block all cookies.

Your rights
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it, withdraw consent where we rely on consent, or stop using it for marketing. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days. For Google Analytics, you can also block cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out tools.
We may refuse a request that is unfounded, excessive, or that we must refuse in order to keep a record the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Keeping it safe
Access to booking records is restricted and password-protected. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to affect your information, we will tell you and the authorities as required by law.

Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A demo booking must be made by an adult. Children attending a session must be accompanied, as set out in our Terms of Use.

Office login
If you are a member of our team using the office pages, we also keep your login details, session cookies, and related technical data so you can stay signed in and so we can protect that part of the site. Those pages are not for the public.

Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. Please look here from time to time.
